Working as a translator in a collegial environment
Our translation teams
More than 4,000 native-speaker professional translators work for us on websites and online shops as well as on classic print products, catalogues and advertising materials. Our clients come from all areas of industry, IT and e-commerce – from very small to very large. When it comes to language, we know (almost) no bounds! Most of our translations go from German or English into other European languages and vice versa. In total, we translate internationally to and from over 50 languages.
Professional translations with memoQ
We are confirmed memoQ users. We prefer our regular translation partners to be experienced users with their own license or new users who will use a temporary license supplied by us. We are also happy to help people to familiarize themselves with the new software if they are interested. Further information is available at memoq.com.
And you
Your specialist subject areas are your passion, and you want to share your knowledge with others both in your native language and in the foreign languages you have learned. When creating translations, you know how important it is for a text to flow well, and also how to captivate your target audience with appealing turns of phrase. Always anxious to meet our own quality standards, self-editing is one of the standard services for your translations. Learning new software technologies comes easily to you and enables you to deliver publication-ready texts to clients.
Certified quality
This means that our translators must meet one of these requirements in order to work with us:
- Translation degree from a recognized university,
- a comparable level of education plus at least two years of documented translation experience,
- or without a university degree, five years of documented translation experience.
Documented translation experience can also be gained by participating in our Eurotext academy program.
We provide our translators with regular feedback on completed projects, which allows us to work with our resources to continuously improve the quality of translations. In large-scale projects, translators benefit from the knowledge and expertise of all other members of the team, which optimizes their collaboration.
If you have any questions about translation projects, our project management and engineers will always be happy to help and advise.
Do you have questions or want to know more? Then get in touch! I will be happy to help you.
